For all the pilots and flying enthusiasts! Turning on this layer will activate the current AIRMETS, SIGMETS, TFRs, Echo Tops, and Flight Plans. You will also find access to Map Type selection by tapping the Aviation Charts.
Flight plans will only show on the map once it has been filed in the FAA database.
Sub-menu –
SIGMETs – Toggle turns SIGMETS layer on and off the map
AIRMETs – Toggle turns AIRMETs layer on and off the map
TFR – Toggle turns TFR layer on and off the Map
Flight Plan – Toggle turns flight plan and path on and off the map. The Flight Plan sub-menu is where you can enter in flight numbers to track a flight once it has rendered in the FAA database.
